Regarding the material for the upcoming PRIMAL FEAR Album,I have the impression of some very agressive and melodic songs, which take you on a journey into space.
Yes, thats right !
The new album might become a concept- album because it tells the story of the search for the black sun.Itīs pretty fascinating to participate in the birth of this record, because every member is coming up with different ideas that all seem to turn to this search for the black sun -topic.Most of the new stuff is rather fast or very fast.
Doublebass- songs like the new " Lightyears ", are even the more melodic type of songs in the tradition of" Silver and gold " from the first album.
" Armageddon " is a fast, driving song, dealin with the futuristic, but unfotunately very realistic vision of a new age holy war.After having toured quite excessively with Nuclear Fire ,and we just played the bigger festivals like Wacken etc.we were in the process of writing for BLACK SUN.I believe that the big amount of live- shows we played, have an influence on the new material.You could just feel what really got the fans going.
For this reason the concept of the black sun also features some very heavy stuff, with songs as COLD DAY IN HELL, or MIND MACHINE which will do just fine as typical PF live -Ass- kickers.
I really hope you fans out there are as excited about the new stuff as we are.
So stay alarmed, because the search for the black sun has only just begun.
